This beach is amazing, it gives off a Greek island vibe! However, on weekends, finding a parking spot and a spot for your umbrella can be difficult, so it's best to arrive early.

The beach offers a prime location, conveniently close to Athens, making it an excellent choice for a day trip or weekend getaway. The stunning shoreline is truly breathtaking, with crystal clear waters and soft sand that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. The beach bar, Pountazeza, offers exceptional service, with a wide range of delicious food and drinks to choose from. The staff are highly professional and the owner's warm Greek hospitality adds an extra touch of charm to this already delightful spot. All in all, I am absolutely enamored with this place.

This beach located in the Athen's region is a stunning and pristine destination that is perfect for families. With two beach bars available, my personal preference is the Charakas beach bar on the right side which offers a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The amenities provided such as toilets, changing rooms, showers, sunbeds, and umbrellas are all available free of charge. The only minor inconvenience is that you will need to make your own coffee, but this is not an issue if you bring your own supplies to the beach.

This serene and pleasant location is ideal for families seeking a peaceful retreat. I have frequented this beach mostly during midday to afternoon hours, and have yet to encounter a suffocating crowd. The water is moderately deep, and generally calm with no waves to speak of, while the sandy bottom is both inside and outside the water. I have been a regular visitor for three years, but during my last visit, I noticed some rocks in the center of the beach that could pose a danger if one is not careful. If these rocks still exist in 2023, exercise caution. It is worth noting that this beach does not have the amenities of a fully equipped beach bar, but rather only a few municipal sunbeds. As someone who does not use deckchairs, I cannot speak to their availability. The photos I have shared were taken with an unprocessed drone in September 2022.
