Undoubtedly, Schinoussa boasts of the most splendid beach that is unparalleled in beauty. The serene ambiance and the vibrant hues of the beach make it an idyllic spot for a perfect getaway. Unlike other touristy beaches, Schinoussa's beach is not overcrowded, making it an authentic Greek experience. This island is a hidden gem that has not yet succumbed to commercialization. My visit to this beach will always be etched in my memory. Additionally, I highly recommend visiting To Petrinos, the best taverna in Schinoussa, which is conveniently located just 400m away. Tsigouri, located on Schinoussa island, is a fantastic beach that's conveniently close to Schinoussa village. The beach boasts soft sand and crystal-clear blue waters, as well as a lovely beach bar. It's an ideal spot to visit on windy days, particularly when the north winds are blowing. Parking is available, and it's a short stroll to the beach. Additionally, there's a small rocky island that's perfect for swimming.

This secluded and peaceful beach is a perfect retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The serene atmosphere and tranquil surroundings make it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. You can also indulge in some adventure by climbing up the rocks and taking a plunge into the refreshing waters.

Although there are no umbrellas, the plentiful trees provide ample shade. The water is shallow for the first 10 meters, but gradually deepens thereafter. While yachts and smaller sailboats make frequent appearances, the beach never feels overcrowded. A leisurely stroll into town takes about 25-30 minutes, with two different pathways to choose from.
