Xigia Sulfur Beach

The beach offers of crystal clear turquoise waters and a breathtaking views from the tavern perched on its edge. However, the beach is petite and it's a rare occurrence to find vacant sunbeds. It's ideal for a quick dip and sunbathing for a few hours. Visitors can also catch a glimpse of a quirky duo of geese who waddle out of the water, squawk at the beachgoers, and then depart into the sea with pride. The air is infused with a distinct aroma of sulfur, adding to the unique ambiance of the place.

Tsilivi is a charming beach in Zakynthos that boasts a stunning location and well-established amenities. Its close proximity to the capital city, coupled with excellent recreational opportunities, make it a highly sought-after destination for families, couples, and romantic getaways. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the convenience of free parking near the beach.

Kalamaki beach

The beach offers pleasant free areas, with sand both on the shore and in the water. It tends to have a decent amount of visitors, but never feels too overcrowded. Overall, it's a decent spot.👍🏼

Marathonisi Beach

The beach was pleasant, although it seemed to be quite congested. Moreover, the experience of swimming amidst the boats was not particularly enjoyable.

Laganas Beach

While we did have the delightful opportunity to swim alongside a graceful turtle, the beach itself felt somewhat underwhelming and overcrowded. Despite its reputation, the beach didn't quite live up to our expectations. However, if you're keen on observing these magnificent creatures, it's definitely worth a visit. I would recommend avoiding peak periods when the beach is swarmed with boats, making it difficult to get a good view of the turtles or take a dip in the water.

Plaka Beach

This beach is not recommended due to the terrible customer service we received from the aggressive and rude manager. Despite wanting to spend money on sunbeds, an umbrella, drinks, snacks, and dinner at the tavern, we were met with hostility for simply asking questions and expressing our dissatisfaction with his behavior. The manager was uninterested in hearing our reasons for being there and instead focused on getting as much money as possible or kicking us out. Additionally, the beach is far from the city center and more expensive than advertised.
