Three years ago, we stumbled upon Agia and since then, we have made it a yearly tradition to visit this stunning beach. The water is always crystal clear and the overall cleanliness of the area is commendable. Additionally, there is a bar and restaurant conveniently located on site, providing a perfect setup for a day of relaxation and enjoyment.

The serene and delightful beach is an ideal spot for indulging in snorkeling. The Galini restaurant is a pleasant addition to the beach, although the prices are a tad high, the serving sizes are generously large.

The sea in Ierapetra is unparalleled.

The beach is a tranquil haven with crystal-clear waters that are perfect for a refreshing swim. It is a secluded spot that is not overcrowded, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The descent to the beach requires traversing through the rental rooms' premises and descending a considerable number of stairs, which are not too steep. The ascent back up is not too strenuous, making it accessible to most. Unfortunately, there are no amenities such as toilets, sunbeds, or shade after a certain hour, so it is advisable to bring an umbrella and plenty of water if you plan on staying for an extended period. Additionally, there are no snack bars or cafes, so packing a picnic is recommended. The nearest supermarket is approximately 1.5 kilometers away by car.
