Kokkinos Pyrgos - all beaches

This stunning beach has an array of activities to indulge in if you feel like taking a break from soaking up the sun or swimming. Our group thoroughly enjoyed venturing into the whimsical hippy caves, basking in the serene ambiance of the shoreline, savoring delectable cuisine, and browsing through the local shops.

The most beautiful beach in Crete. Crystal clear water, bucolic landscape, excellent tavern food and in addition equipped beach and free beach. Relaxation in the round and never crowded.

This seaside hamlet boasts a handful of quaint cafes and eateries, though nothing that will blow your flip-flops off.

The beach is small and pleasant. There are two routes to get here, with one being slightly more rugged than the other. The longer route, which is shown on Google maps, is mostly paved but still has a short off-road section towards the end. In the summertime, the beach offers shaded areas starting from 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

The beach offers of amazing sand, and we specifically chose to sunbathe on the nudist part located in the middle, which was easily accessible from the south part. Although the sea can be a bit rough, it remains shallow. It is advisable to bring your own shade if necessary.

This tranquil beach is a haven for nature-lovers seeking a serene escape. The rock pools provide a safe and educational environment for little ones to dip their toes and discover the wonders of the sea. The unique pebble beach is a refreshing change from traditional sandy shores, with plenty of shells to collect and admire. A small café and shower facilities are available for added convenience. While swimming may not be the main attraction due to flat and slippery rocks, paddling in the rock pools is a delightful experience. It's worth noting that caution should be exercised when venturing further out to avoid any potential currents.
