Vai beach

This stunning beach has a plethora of palm trees, creating a picturesque and serene atmosphere. The organization of the beach is impeccable, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors. It is worth noting that parking is available for a small fee of 3 euros. For those who wish to lounge comfortably, sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a reasonable price of 10 euros. Without a doubt, this beach ranks among the top destinations in Crete. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and idyllic beach day. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed.

Erimoupolis beach

This Eastern Crete beach is truly remarkable. Access to the beach requires a short uphill walk from the parking area, but the effort is well worth it. The beach remains hidden from view until you reach the top of the hill, where you are greeted with an awe-inspiring sight of crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand. The beach's seclusion adds to its charm, making it a perfect spot for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Itanos beach

This serene beach offers a tranquil escape with its pristine sands and gentle mix of fine gravel. It's conveniently located near the Minoan Ruins, with free parking available for visitors. While the near shore area can be slippery, water shoes provide easy access to the clear waters, where snorkelers can explore the sea life around the rocks and crevices. And for those seeking respite from the sun, natural palm trees provide a shady spot to relax and unwind.

The beach is stunning and serene, with two windsurfing stations and plenty of windsurfers. While I came here for kitesurfing, it wasn't the best experience. The wind is extremely gusty, particularly near the shore, which can cause your kite to fall out of the sky. Launching and landing can be challenging, especially since I was the only kitesurfer around. I wouldn't suggest this spot for beginners, and even for more experienced kitesurfers, it may not be the most enjoyable. It's a shame because the bay is vast and beautiful, and the atmosphere is so laid-back.

The port town of Sitia, located in the Eastern part of Crete, is a stunning city that offers wonderful opportunities for exploration, as well as a wide range of shops and restaurants to discover. However, what truly sets this city apart is the ability to explore it on foot, allowing you to truly feel as if you have stepped back in time. As depicted in the photos, you may stumble upon a beautiful Church or be treated to breathtaking views of cobblestone streets and the harbor. Greece is a place that is both mythical and magical, surpassing any expectations you may have. It is a definite must-visit destination. If you are fortunate enough to have family or friends residing there, you can delve even deeper into the culture and experience the richness of this incredible country.
