Prassas - all beaches

We had a great time at the beach. It was a bit breezy, but that's to be expected. We loved watching planes come in and out of the nearby airport, but the noise didn't bother us. The water was perfect, and there weren't too many rocks. We rented an umbrella and some lounge chairs for 7€ and ordered lunch and cocktails from News Cafe Beach. I suggest getting there early because it fills up fast. We arrived at 10:30 and there were plenty of chairs available, but they were all taken by early afternoon. Overall, we had a great day and would definitely come back!

This shoreline is located a mere 10-minute drive from Heraleion. Its calm and shallow waters are perfect for frolicking around, but it's best to avoid venturing too far out during windy conditions, as it can be a bit challenging. Additionally, this beach offers one of the most gorgeous sunsets you'll ever witness.

There is a fantastic sandy beach located just a short 10-minute drive away from Heraklion Airport. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of free parking, as well as a selection of charming restaurants that offer excellent value for money.

The water at the beach was absolutely incredible. I visited in October 2019, and despite the time of year, the sea was peaceful and the weather pleasantly warm, so I couldn't resist taking a swim. The water is remarkably clear, the beach is peaceful (with not many tourists from late September to early October), and the view is simply perfect, with a small island visible on the horizon.

This charming beach is nestled on a cozy lagoon, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're looking for comfort, there are comfortable loungers available for rent at a reasonable price of 6€ for a pair. Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your own gear and set up camp along the shore. We opted for both options and were pleased to find that we were left undisturbed throughout our visit.

This is our second time staying here and I must say that the experience is still incredible. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the service is impeccable. Every staff member here goes above and beyond to make you feel special and is extremely attentive to any questions or requests you may have. A huge thank you to the architect and designer of the hotel who have created beautiful aesthetics in every corner. Every aspect of the hotel is well-planned, cohesive, and promotes a sense of tranquility. Everything is in perfect order. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of options.
