This beach is a typical fishing village in Greece, situated next to the national highway. There is a large square near the ship dock. The swimming conditions in the sea are average due to a large factory operating at the northern border of the village, which appears to be polluting the waters. It could be just my personal preference, but I notice many people swimming despite this. The residents and shop owners are kind and friendly. The market is sufficient to meet all basic needs, and there is an excellent fish restaurant called "Kavos."
