Chittakula - all beaches

This beach seems to be the first one you'll come across in Goa and is located near the border of Karnataka. Polem beach is approximately 60.4 kilometers south of Margao, which is the largest city in South Goa and can be reached via the NH 66.

Excellent place to relax

Discover the most stunning, tranquil and unspoiled beach, hidden away from the crowds. However, reaching this idyllic location requires a challenging trek through dense forest and slippery slopes. Begin your journey at the end of Bliss by the Sea resort, where a narrow path leads you into the forest on your left, while the coast stretches out to your right. Remember to stick to the trail and bring plenty of water and snacks in a bag. Please do not litter on this pristine beach, take your trash with you and dispose of it properly. Keep an eye out for the impressive monitor lizards that call this place home. The sea can be very steep and the currents too strong, so it is best not to venture too far out. Be sure to leave before sunset, as the beach is completely submerged during high tides. Enjoy your adventure!

This beach is commonly known as Rabindranath Tagore beach. It offers ample parking space, a designated area for children to play, and a chat center. It's a lovely spot to enjoy quality time with your family.

Whenever I find myself in Karwar, I make sure to visit this beach at least three times a week - it's my absolute favorite. The sunset here is always breathtaking, but unfortunately, the beach is not very well maintained. Litter can be found scattered all over the shore. However, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy, including boat rides and Jet Skiing. Sundays tend to be the busiest day, with many visitors flocking to the beach. If you're feeling peckish, you can also find vendors selling delicious kulfi and peanuts.

This shoreline is exclusively available to those in the armed forces, offering a secluded and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beauty of the beach is unparalleled, with crystal-clear waters and soft, white sand that stretch out as far as the eye can see. It's the perfect spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat or a place to unwind and soak up the sun. The beach's exclusivity only adds to its allure, making it a hidden gem that's worth seeking out.
