Chitrapadi - all beaches

This so-called awesome beach may seem picturesque with its river islands and boat rides, but don't be fooled by its superficial charm. The only time worth visiting is either at the crack of dawn or during sunset, when the sun's rays can distract from the lackluster scenery. And let's not forget about the thrilling mangrove swamps that offer a leisurely ride - because who doesn't want to spend their vacation surrounded by murky, stagnant water? Overall, this beach may be scenic, but don't expect anything more than a mediocre tourist trap.

This beach is truly amazing, with a serene and tranquil atmosphere that is free from the hustle and bustle of crowds. It is a well-maintained and pristine location that offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment. What's more, it happens to be conveniently located near my home, making it the perfect spot for a quick getaway. The Arabian sea is connected here, providing a stunning backdrop for any activity. Although there are no restaurants or accommodations nearby, the lack of distractions only adds to the peaceful ambiance. And if you're looking for a bit of adventure, the boating opportunities here are exceptional.

This stunning coastal destination is truly a haven of tranquility, with the added bonus of peacocks and peahens to admire along the way. The lack of crowds makes it an ideal location to relax and enjoy the sea, without the hustle and bustle of other popular beaches. However, due to the lack of visitors, there can be some litter left behind overnight, particularly bottles and food. Nonetheless, it remains a pristine and enjoyable spot for a day by the ocean.

Traversing this road with your vehicle is an adventure worth embarking on. The picturesque scenery on either side is truly breathtaking.

This is one of my favorite beaches, as it's not usually crowded, allowing for a peaceful swim. However, it's important to note that there have been incidents of drowning, so it's crucial to prioritize safety while enjoying the water.

This beach is the perfect spot for a weekend escape. Unlike other beaches in Udupi, it's not overly crowded.
