We had an incredible experience at the beach in November - it was even warm enough to swim! The water was crystal clear and you could see the soft sandy bottom. It had a beautiful aquamarine hue and was so smooth and shallow. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon. We were able to sit on the beach for free and there was public access on the south side. We were able to walk up to the north end of the beach, where there were plenty of restaurants. We even went to a restaurant on the north side of the peninsula which was really nice. You can also get some great pictures from the nearby world heritage site ancient ruins.

This particular beach is one of the two available for camping in the vicinity, which means that it can get quite crowded on weekends. However, there is enough space for everyone to find their own spot. The beach offers ample parking, although it may be necessary to park up to 50 meters away from the shore. While there are often lively parties happening in the area, it is still possible to find a peaceful and quiet place to relax. It is important to note that the water levels can rise in the morning, so it's best to avoid pitching a tent too close to the water's edge.

This Mediterranean beach is truly lovely, with its soft and inviting sand and tranquil, warm waters. However, it's important to keep in mind that on Fridays for Shabbat, the buses stop running around 5:00 p.m. If you happen to miss the last one, like I did, you'll be left with the choice of either taking a pricey taxi or embarking on a leisurely stroll.

Upon our arrival, we were informed that it was a day exclusively reserved for male swimmers, hence we were denied access to the waters.
