Resting by the sea for each traveler is associated with different activities. Someone loves complete relaxation and silence, while others need activity. Our configurator will always help you choose a beach that meets your personal needs.

If a beach holiday for you is primarily the sound of the surf, the cries of seagulls over the pier and leisurely walks along the coast, then you are definitely a fan of calm beaches. The most popular beaches for such a holiday in the vicinity of Sapri are Fiumicello beach, Bussentino port beach, Villammare beach II.

Some of the beaches in the area are quite remote from the roads. So, if you are a hiker, you will definitely appreciate this place. But if you are new to hiking, we recommend that you study the details of access from descriptions and user reviews to understand if this is feasible for you. As a reward, you will get to experience a wild beach with untouched nature.

The list of available beach activities is certainly important, but for many travelers it is not a determining factor when choosing a vacation spot. Below you will find some information about the natural features of the beaches of Sapri, we hope that this information will help you find the place of your dreams.

The beaches of town are mainly narrow. According to reviews of major beach experts and vacationers, most beaches have a medium level of cleanliness. Sandy - pebbly beaches dominate the rest!

As pebble rocky beaches are common here, it's recommended to bring aqua shoes if you're sensitive to it. This way, your vacation will be as comfortable as possible.

Usually, the depth increases normally. If this is important to you, always use our filter to check for a particular beach.

4 out of 37 beaches in Sapri are partially protected from waves. These protections can be natural or man-made structures. If you're visiting the area during unstable weather, we recommend carefully choosing a place to swim, as high waves may not always be safe. Our filter can help you find a suitable beach.

A not-so-pleasant feature of the beaches in Sapri is the high density of boats, yachts, or other watercraft on some of them. There are about 5 such beaches, but this may vary depending on the season. If this is a concern for you, we recommend carefully checking the beaches of interest for this issue using our Boat filter.

Fiumicello beach

The pristine waters glisten with clarity, while the beach itself remains immaculate. Although the shoreline is composed entirely of pebbles, it still provides a comfortable spot for lounging. The swimming experience is exceptional, and the beach is perfectly positioned to catch the breathtaking sunset.

Spiaggia Nera

This beach on the Tirreno side of the Basilicata coast holds a special place in my heart as my second favorite. The crystal-clear waters are truly mesmerizing, and the sand's darker hue sets it apart from other beaches in the area, earning it the name Spiaggia Nera or Black Beach. However, the sand's color also means it can get extra hot, so it's advisable to bring comfortable sandals or wetshoes. Staying until sunset rewards visitors with an incredible view of the sea and sky, framed by the stunning rock formations on the left side. The Lido Spiaggia Nera and its bar staff are exceptional, providing excellent service. Visitors can rent umbrellas and seats on the beach, but there's also a for free section. However, visitors must bring their own umbrella as there are no shaded areas, and the sun can be unforgiving. If you're into standup paddleboarding, this beach is a must-visit destination. Other water-based activities like renting a kayak and going on a guided tour or snorkeling are also available. However, parking can be a bit tricky due to the terrain, and visitors must climb a long set of stairs to access the actual beach. Overall, I highly recommend this beach to any beach-goer looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.

The service at the beach was absolutely flawless, and the staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The granitas and coffee creams were truly exceptional and added a special touch to my experience. I am already looking forward to returning to this wonderful beach.

The beach staff were unfriendly and unaccommodating, refusing to allow us to bring water or fruit for our children. We were even blocked at the entrance without any explanation. Thankfully, we trusted the reviews and found better options nearby that were not only more affordable but also well-equipped. It's no surprise that this beach was empty during peak season - there must be a reason for it.
