The stroll along the beach is simply breathtaking, as you embark on a journey that commences where the paved road of Sabaudia's coastline culminates. To your left, the vast expanse of the sea stretches out before you, while on your right, you'll find the majestic buffalo and the serene Fogliano lake, all nestled amidst the lush foliage of the Mediterranean shrubs and the sand dunes.

Whilst staying in Rome, my companions and I were eager to spend a day basking in the sun by the seaside. Our search led us to this idyllic beach, which proved to be the perfect choice. The journey was hassle-free, with a direct train from Roma termini to the beach. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a pristine shoreline with white sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach was not overly crowded, affording us ample space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff at the seaside café were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the day. It's worth noting that the sand can become quite hot, so we recommend wearing slippers. One of the standout features of this beach is the presence of underwater dunes, which make it safe for children and non-swimmers. The water gradually deepens, allowing for a gradual and comfortable transition. Additionally, the beach is patrolled by a hired lifeguard, giving us peace of mind. We opted for sunbeds and an umbrella, which cost us a reasonable 25 euros in total. Shower facilities were available for a nominal fee of 20 cents per person, and the changing rooms were free of charge. Overall, our experience at this beach was incredibly pleasant. It was the perfect day trip from Rome, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing day by the sea.

Wow, congratulations are definitely in order! The cashier mentioned that leaving a review was optional, but we couldn't resist praising this place. The food here is top-notch, especially the tonnarelli with prawns and pistachio. I made sure to compliment the chef on that one. We also enjoyed a deliciously fresh sea bream with baked potatoes, and the glass of white wine was superb. The staff at the tables were attentive and accommodating, which added to the overall experience. You really have to give it a try. The establishment itself is well-maintained and welcoming, with plenty of seating options. We drove all the way from Rome, which took us about 50 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again, Vanessa and Stefano.
