The beaches of village are mainly narrow. According to reviews of major beach experts and vacationers, most beaches have a high level of cleanliness. Pebbly beaches dominate the rest!

The kiddies pool is excellent and there is also a bar for adults!

The water is pristine and the beach is conveniently located with nearby parking. We arrived in the late afternoon and were pleased to find that the beach wasn't too crowded.

We tried some antipasti (cheese, meat), but they didn't quite meet the quality standards you would expect in Italy; they lacked freshness. The pizzas were decent, but nothing particularly outstanding. The service was alright, although due to the restaurant being crowded, we missed that personal touch.

We've been searching for a beach that is suitable for small children to easily access the water, with a gently sloping shore area. We finally found what we were looking for here. Thanks to a river mouth, there are even smaller streams or play areas where children can simply build small dams with stones and wood. You have the option to park on the street or directly below the restaurant la Sirena. There is also a section of the shore where you can find some sand. However, the water is mostly rocky, but the stream and lake have beautifully rounded stones. The only downside is the view of the nearby cement factory, which slightly detracts from the pleasant holiday atmosphere. Other than that, we noticed that the beach on the east side of the lake is perfect for swimming. What's particularly great is that there is a playground and a small park about 50 meters away from the bathing area. This allows you to send the children to play while taking breaks from swimming.

There is a spacious green space near the lake where you can relax, soak up the sun, and take a dip in the water (there are steps at the lake entrance). On-site parking is available, as well as a drinking fountain and chemical bath. If you follow the path a bit further, you'll come across two other scenic spots with a beach where the water is crystal clear and the lake entrance is easier. There are no amenities, but there are several bars in the village's small square on the lakefront.

Spiaggia libera "Piccola Tahiti"

While passing through Marone, I decided to make a stop and check out the renowned Tahiti beach. To locate it, you can follow the directions to the library, and once you reach some ladders, you can descend to the famous Tahiti beach. Despite the presence of algae on the shore, the water is clean and shallow, making it suitable for children. Additionally, the view of the lake is incredibly beautiful. Now, let's discuss the beach itself, which is not well-maintained and consists of a combination of pebbles, sand, and a small patch of grass, if you can even call it that. Contrary to my expectations based on the reviews, I didn't find it to be a remarkable place. Unfortunately, there are no kiosk toilets available, so you'll have to walk about 300/400 meters to the ice cream bar. I would recommend this beach if you're just passing through and need a relaxing break, but I strongly advise against spending a full day here. Parking in the area is available.
