La Locanda Beach

This beach on Lake Monate is truly beautiful, and the staff are friendly and kind. I highly recommend trying their aperitif, as they serve a variety of delicious appetizers at the best prices among the equipped beaches on the lake. It's absolutely fantastic!

Oltrelago Beach

While it may not be a restaurant, I would consider it a hidden gem if you're looking for a bar in Travedona-Monate! :-) You'll have a fantastic lake view and can indulge in some delightful drinks.

Spiaggia Guree Monvalle

Two small beaches are divided by trees, with a sandy shore that is perfect for children. Although there is a sign at the entrance prohibiting dogs, I have seen several on the beach. This wasn't an issue for me as a dog lover, as there is no designated area for dogs only. The Beach Bar serves cappuccinos in paper cups for takeout, which tasted like they were made from a coffee machine and were overpriced at 2 €. In contrast, other beach bars serve cappuccinos at the table for €1.50. The pizza is said to be good. On a positive note, there is a large free parking area, some of which is shaded, as well as a toilet, and no entrance fee to the beach.

Spiaggia dell' Erno

This beach is well-equipped, offering not only beautiful surroundings but also comfortable deck chairs. Additionally, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a peaceful Sunday.

Spiaggia di Stresa

The small pebble beach located near Stresa's city center is a great spot to visit, especially if you're staying in the area. It's conveniently within walking distance, making it easily accessible. There are two beach bars/restaurants nearby, although we didn't have the chance to try them out. The water is crystal clear, and while it may not be as pristine as a sandy beach in the Caribbean, it's still a lovely place to take a dip. Overall, we had a pleasant experience swimming and enjoying the beach.

Spiaggia di Reno

The lake has a lot of stones, so it's a good idea to wear water shoes if you plan on swimming. In June, from around 4 to 8 p.m., there tends to be strong winds and heavy rain in the afternoon. Make sure you're back home before then.
