The stone beach is really nice, with crystal clear water and great facilities.

We decided to leave after some time as the waves were too large for swimming. The beach had a rocky terrain with sizable and slippery rocks, making it quite challenging to enter and exit the water.

Torrenova Lungomare

The service was extremely poor. I requested two aperol spritz, but the server informed me that he could only prepare one. When I inquired about other drink options like a mojito, he suggested a prosecco or a white wine instead. I ended up sitting with a watered-down aperol and a glass of prosecco, while observing numerous aperols and camparis being served to other customers within just 20 minutes. It was a truly awful experience.

Sant'Alessio Siculo

The lifeguard at the Cute Lido, Francesco, is known as Ciccio and is very polite. However, the owner of the place is incredibly rude, arrogant, and lacks dignity. I managed to control my anger because I was with my wife and kids, but someone as despicable as him deserves to be dealt with seriously, maybe even thrown into the sea to be dealt with by the fish.

Catania beach II

The beach is truly remarkable, provided that the water is free of seaweed, jellyfish, and plastic. Fortunately, the situation has improved significantly, thanks to the hard work of the dedicated staff. I visited Spiaggia Libera 1 today, but it was an utter disappointment. I recommend opting for the free beaches 2 or 3 instead, as they are located farther from the city and harbor, resulting in cleaner water and sand.

The water was crystal clear and refreshing, however, the sandy shore was littered with an abundance of trash. While I comprehend that this is a communal beach, the overwhelming amount of debris was unsettling.
