We decided to leave after some time as the waves were too large for swimming. The beach had a rocky terrain with sizable and slippery rocks, making it quite challenging to enter and exit the water.
We had a fantastic time at La Pigna! The service was both friendly and efficient, and the beach itself is stunning, with a distinctively Italian style. For breakfast, we enjoyed delicious cappuccinos and toasted sandwiches served right on our sunbeds. Later, we indulged in a delightful lunch at the hidden seafood restaurant located at the opposite end of the beach. At La Pigna, you have access to convenient amenities such as showers, changing rooms, and clean toilets. Additionally, we took advantage of their shuttle service, although it's important to remember to book in advance, as they were unfortunately unable to accommodate everyone on the day we visited.
What a stunning destination to explore! The beach is bustling with activity, and while it may be rocky, I highly recommend bringing along some water shoes to fully enjoy the experience. Luckily, these essentials can be easily obtained locally at a reasonable price.
The beach is well-maintained and tidy, equipped with convenient amenities like showers and recycling bins. However, the only downside is that precisely at 2pm, the sewage waste is released, which is quite repulsive.
