What a wonderful sandy beach ⛱️! The shoreline is shallow for a considerable distance, making it safe for little ones to play. The beach is spacious and offers plenty of chairs and umbrellas for rent, or you can bring your own blanket and umbrella. If you're feeling adventurous, kayaks and SUPs are available for rent. In the evening, restaurants, ice cream stands, and a kids' amusement park open up, and there's even a playground by the restaurant. You'll never be bored on this beach, as vendors are constantly selling water floaties, sand toys, beachwear, jewelry, and books. There are also conveniently located WCs and changing rooms/showers near the umbrella rental areas. Additionally, some businesses on the beach proudly support Ukraine 🇺🇦 👏 💪. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

This charming beach is just the right size, featuring both private sunbeds and open areas for visitors to enjoy. While the beach is mostly comprised of pebbles and rocks, it's important to bring beach shoes to avoid any discomfort. Despite the occasional wind and waves, the water is still a delightful temperature and perfect for swimming. Although the water may not be crystal clear, the overall experience is still quite enjoyable.

What a quaint little spot, but oh dear, the amenities leave much to be desired. The unsightly sight of cars parked practically on the sand is an embarrassment, and it seems only the most uncouth individuals take advantage of it. It's a pity really, as the scenery and ocean are truly breathtaking.

Lido Porta del Sole

The shoreline of this beach boasts shallow waters and soft sand, allowing visitors to take a leisurely stroll beyond the pier in water no deeper than knee-high. While the restaurants lining the shore offer a convenient place to grab a bite or a drink, the east side of the beach could benefit from some attention from the city to clear away debris that washes ashore during the winter months. Despite this, the beach remains a lovely spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the gentle waves.

The beach is expansive and stretches for a long distance, with very few people visiting by the end of June. It is a free beach with some amenities provided.

We were a group of seven, including a toddler, and overall I must say that our experience was extremely disappointing. We were promptly offered water, which arrived quickly, but after that, everything went downhill. We had to wait at least 30 minutes before we could even place our food order. Just seconds after placing the order, I had to chase down the waitress to request a plate change because my wife had changed her mind. The waitress's behavior was incredibly rude, to say the least. She actually raised her voice and stated that the order had already been sent to the kitchen, claiming it was automatic... unbelievable. Going back a bit, I should mention that the table next to ours left, and the new customers who sat there received their Spritz drinks, wine, water, and even starters before we even got our wine, let alone our food. Despite arriving at least 20 minutes after us, they were served much faster. We also had to ask three times for the bread basket, which was offered to us at the same time as the water. We then requested a high chair for our daughter, but it arrived at least 10 minutes later and was disgustingly dirty. There were crumbs and other food particles, as well as stains. We couldn't even use it. As for the food, if you're charging €23 per person for a pasta dish with seafood (minimum 2 people), it should be exceptional. Unfortunately, it wasn't great (although it wasn't terrible either), but for that price, we expected something much better than what we received. There was an excessive amount of olive oil in the pasta, which I find unacceptable. When you charge above-average prices, you should absolutely ensure that you have an adequate amount of staff at the very least. In my opinion, you should also make sure that the food is above average. We didn't have dessert, we simply paid and left as soon as we finished eating. The location was beautiful, and we wish we could have enjoyed it more...
