The beaches of town are mainly wide. According to reviews of major beach experts and vacationers, most beaches have a high level of cleanliness. Sandy beaches dominate the rest!

As pebble rocky beaches are common here, it's recommended to bring aqua shoes if you're sensitive to it. This way, your vacation will be as comfortable as possible.

Usually, the depth increases very smoothly. If this is important to you, always use our filter to check for a particular beach.

24 out of 100 beaches in Pontassieve are partially protected from waves. These protections can be natural or man-made structures. If you're visiting the area during unstable weather, we recommend carefully choosing a place to swim, as high waves may not always be safe. Our filter can help you find a suitable beach.

This means that the water can recede from the shore for a long distance and vice versa, causing unexpected situations for you or your belongings. Keep this in mind when planning your beach activities and be sure to check our filter for information on tidal ranges.

We had an amazing experience at the beach thanks to Claudia's exceptional professionalism, grace, and kindness. She warmly welcomed us tourists and provided us with valuable information that left a lasting impression. We truly appreciate her attention and the abundance of information she shared. We will definitely be returning, solely because of her.

Pinarella beach

We had an amazing experience at the beach. There were plenty of activities for children, a small pool, a newly built bocce court, and a beach court. The self-service restaurant and bar were convenient, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained with modern facilities. The best part was that the prices were affordable, especially considering the exorbitant rates found throughout the entire Riviera. The staff, led by Ingrid, were young and friendly, and Ingrid herself treated us exceptionally well. If we ever come back to Pinarella, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

This beach offers a gradual entry into the sea, with some areas being more accessible than others. However, the overall experience is delightful as the water is only 60-100 cm deep about 1-2 meters from the shore, making it perfect for small children to enjoy. The beach itself is sandy with a pebble belt, and the bottom is mostly sandy. There are plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds available, as well as cabins, toilets, and refreshments on the beach. The water is warm and refreshing, making it a perfect spot to cool off during hot summer days. Refreshments such as sprite and Algida ice cream are available for 2-3€, while food is priced around 13€ and coffee at 1.20€. The beach is comfortable and popular among Italian visitors, making it an ideal destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the local culture.

The beach was lovely and the staff at the bar were very friendly. However, I personally found that there was a bit too much vegetation in the water for my liking.

The beach experience was absolutely exceptional, with a team of highly skilled and professional instructors who were both patient and knowledgeable. The lessons were conducted in a gradual manner, starting off in the shallow waters before venturing out into the vast expanse of the open sea. To facilitate the activities, two dinghies were made available, adding to the overall excitement and adventure of the experience. All in all, it was simply superb!
