The staff at the beach were incredibly welcoming and the prices for beer were very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised to find that chairs were provided free of charge and we only had to pay $10 for umbrellas. Although the water was not particularly deep, it was crystal clear and refreshingly clean. While there may not have been a plethora of activities to engage in, we still had an amazing time once the DJ began playing music.
This beach is open to the public and offers free admission for locals with identification. The water is pristine and the depth remains relatively shallow for over 30 meters, making it an ideal spot for children to swim. Additionally, lifeguards are on duty to ensure safety. I strongly suggest checking out this beach for a fun and safe day in the sun.
This charming little beach is perfect for unwinding and exploring the underwater world on a crystal clear day. However, the service at the beach bar may be a bit leisurely, so keep in mind that you're on island time.
We've been here for 3 and a half days and have been thoroughly enjoying our trip. The captain's market is fantastic and the service is even better. We want to give a big shout-out to Britney, Abigail, Dexton Jr, and many others. They were very polite and kind, quick with our drinks, and always checked in on us. The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The beach is a bit rocky at the beginning, but if you walk in a bit, there's a sandbar where you can enjoy the waves and float. We're looking forward to the rest of our trip. 😊🕶️
Zantae, our tour guide for the carnival cruise excursion, was absolutely fantastic. Her lovely demeanor and warm smile instantly made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We embarked on a tour of the town where we had the opportunity to delve into the rich history of Jamaica. Our driver, Steve, was also incredibly polite and ensured our safety throughout the journey in the private van. The crystal clear blue waters and delectable authentic Jamaican cuisine were simply delightful. Every aspect of the excursion was meticulously organized and flawless. Without a doubt, we give it a perfect 10/10 rating! We highly recommend this enjoyable and family-friendly experience to anyone in search of an amazing time.
Plenty of attentive personnel and a wide range of activities available if desired. The beachfront is meticulously maintained. The cuisine is on a well-rounded rotation. There are numerous dining options to select from. The accommodations are spotless and the staff is diligent with housekeeping. The room service is quite prompt. They host various vendors selling local art and offer delightful nightly entertainment. Two aspects we would consider changing or enhancing: 1. The shower nozzles are oddly positioned and do not appear to function properly, or at least ours did not. 2. Additionally, the consistency of staff attitudes could be improved. While many staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly, some individuals, particularly in sales and administrative roles, were not as welcoming. They assisted us, but we felt as though we were inconveniencing them. Nevertheless, overall, we had a fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
