Diani Beach

Diani Beach is an absolute gem! The sand is so pristine, it's almost blindingly white. The water is a crystal-clear blue that is simply breathtaking. As you stroll along the beach, you'll come across charming rock and sand bars that add to the area's natural beauty. The high and low tides are quite dramatic, with the high tide almost reaching the resorts and the low tides extending out about 150 feet. While there is a bit of seaweed on the beach, the resorts have well-maintained areas just off the beach that are perfect for lounging. However, one downside is the lack of maintenance by the locals, which can be a bit of a bummer. The main issue we encountered during our visit was the persistent and insistent men who approached us for money. Whether they were offering camel rides, selling jewelry or coconuts, or just outright asking for cash, it was impossible to walk more than 20 feet without being approached by multiple people. Despite this, Diani Beach is still a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Kenyan coast.

Galu Kinondo Beach

This incredible beach is a true hidden gem - it's absolutely deserted! The crystal clear waters are a stunning shade of blue that will take your breath away. If you're feeling adventurous, hop on a camel and explore the coastline. The locals are super friendly and will even offer you fresh coconuts to sip on while you soak up the sun. For those seeking more excitement, there are plenty of water sports available to get your adrenaline pumping. And don't forget to check out the amazing snorkeling spots - you'll be amazed by the colorful marine life. All in all, a truly lovely spot to spend a day or two!

This beach is an excellent choice for camping as they provide restroom and shower facilities. The cost is 700 per person if you bring your own tent, with an additional 700 if you don't have one. Additionally, they offer a cooking area where you can bring a grill and enjoy some delicious grilled meat or chicken.

Galu Beach

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great too... although the waitstaff could work on their dress code, as those long shirts resemble dresses. Additionally, we would prefer drinks served in glasses rather than plastic tumblers.
