This quaint seaside town boasts a plethora of diving centers, perfect for those seeking an underwater adventure. However, the limited selection of restaurants may leave foodies wanting more. Additionally, the lack of nighttime activities may not appeal to those looking for a lively nightlife scene.
This place is like a hidden gem... It's usually empty! Towards the very end of the beach, you can keep going past the rocks by walking through the water (which is dry when the tide is low)... It's a small beach that's always empty. Absolutely stunning. You can easily go snorkeling from the square, there are some beautiful corals. There are no facilities on the beach, but that's what adds to its charm. Remember to bring water and be cautious.
Unfortunately, there were no available rooms at Nazri1 in Tioman during our stay. The place appears to be in good condition, and the beach is excellent. The restaurant on-site is definitely worth checking out, as they serve very good food. I had the opportunity to stay there twice, in 1982 and 1985, and I have fond memories of Nazri's place, which was one of the few establishments that offered room rentals.
