Latest reviews on Kuala Terengganu's beaches

Kapas Turtle Valley
10 Nesla

I was fortunate enough to meet the owners while on the mainland, and they kindly invited me to spend a day at their resort, despite already having a hotel reservation. I am so grateful that I accepted their invitation, as the location was absolutely breathtaking, and the food, service, and company were all unforgettable. After enjoying a delicious lunch and a few drinks, I was offered the opportunity to stay the night, which I happily accepted. While it may not always be possible to secure a room without prior booking (as there are limited accommodations available), I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The stay includes meals and transportation to and from the island, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind in paradise. You simply must visit this island to truly appreciate its beauty - the service is top-notch and I would give it an A++ rating.

Pandak Beach
10 Soren Kwan Liang

The beach offers of soft, exquisite sand and friendly locals. It is a perfect spot facing the South China Sea. However, if driving to the beach, one must exercise extreme caution and avoid driving into sandy areas to prevent the vehicle's tires from getting stuck. I am immensely grateful to the kind-hearted beach-goers who came to my aid. The people of Terengganu are truly helpful and lovely.

Batu Buruk Beach
10 Landon Rivers

Time flew by so quickly that we hardly noticed. Batu Buruk Beach has plenty of local vendors selling a variety of affordable and delicious food. Pick up some snacks and take a stroll while enjoying the ocean breeze. It's definitely worth the walk. Note that it's been quite windy lately, so be sure to stay safe.

Teluk Ketapang Beach
6 JAMIL AHMAD ZAKI

This beach is serene and stunning, particularly on weekdays. On Fridays, a night market sets up shop until sunset, offering an array of local delicacies like satay, otak-otak, kuih peneram, and grilled treats. Additionally, there are clothing vendors available. However, once the night market closes, a significant amount of litter is left behind, including on the beach.

Peranginan Kelulut Beach
8 Lila Aquatics

This beach has a stunning view of Pulau Kapas, but it is disheartening to see the amount of litter scattered about. It's a pity that visitors don't seem to value the beauty of this beach. If you happen to be there, I implore you to take just five minutes to help clean up the trash.

Mengabang Telipot Beach
6 Jin Wei Chen

The beach is currently undergoing preservation work due to erosion, resulting in a less than desirable aesthetic. However, visitors can still enjoy the authentic ambiance of a traditional Malay fishing village.
