Rasdhoo - all beaches

My husband and I went to Veligandu for our honeymoon in May. There is so much to say about this place, but I'll try to keep it short. It truly is a little paradise with amazing staff, great food, and even though the place was fully booked, we didn't encounter many other people. The room and view are unbeatable, and the staff will make you feel special. I'm thrilled that we had the opportunity to go there before it closes for refurbishment, and I would love to return someday. After speaking to other guests who have traveled all around the Maldives, it's no surprise that Veligandu is considered the best island by far.

The resort and the island were amazing, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. However, I have to admit that the customer service did not meet my expectations. There were some minor issues, such as communication being done through the TV, which made it easy to miss important messages. Additionally, they abruptly cut off WiFi access at 2:00 PM on the day of departure. The transportation to and from Male was infrequent, resulting in a significant amount of time wasted at the airport. The most disappointing part was when we complained, along with other guests, about one of the excursions not being as enjoyable as expected. The staff claimed to have investigated the incident and found no fault, but right before leaving, we discovered that other guests had also complained and received a 25% refund. While the amount itself wasn't significant, it was the lack of fairness that bothered us. Because of this experience, I will consider choosing a different resort for my next trip to the Maldives.
