This place is absolutely amazing! The location, food, service, and the sea are all top-notch. It's definitely the best spot in Grand Baie. 😍

Le Bouchon Beach

Quiet usually. Love this place. No shops around. Careful if you there at night.

Ile aux Cerfs Beach

This location in Mauritius is truly stunning, but unfortunately, swimming may not be the best option due to the abundance of sea urchins on the beach. These creatures can be found both on and off the shore. Additionally, a boat tour is available for a reasonable price of 450 Rupees (approximately 10-12 Euro) but does not include a BBQ. However, there are some great food options to be found on the island.

Wolmar Beach

This beach is a pleasant spot to unwind with loved ones and take a leisurely walk by the shore. It's also a fantastic location for fishing and capturing stunning sunset shots. However, parking can be challenging due to the limited space available. I would advise against swimming here since the seawater is often contaminated with sewage and can emit an unpleasant odor.

La Cambuse Beach

Visited in early November 2021, I discovered a stunning beach with pristine waters that shimmered in the sunlight. A cautionary sign advised against venturing too far into the ocean due to the presence of strong currents, but I felt secure swimming near the shore. Despite being a Mauritian public holiday, the beach was moderately crowded, but not as congested as Blue Bay. Convenient amenities such as toilets, an ice cream van, and a few food stalls were located near the parking area, which was free of charge.
