Waddinxveen - all beaches

Visiting the Netherlands means you get to enjoy their beautiful beaches, which are plentiful in this region. Despite the unpredictable spring weather, it's definitely worth checking out.

When you find yourself in The Hague, a visit to the beach is an absolute must, particularly when the weather is in your favor. There are countless bars and restaurants where you can indulge in a refreshing drink or a delicious meal while taking in the stunning sunset views. One of my personal favorites is perching atop one of the piers, where you'll find charming little lighthouses that add to the ambiance. Trust me, visiting this beach is an experience you won't want to miss if you're looking to create unforgettable memories during your trip to Den Haag.

This beach is a lovely spot to savor a meal and witness the breathtaking sunset. It stays open until late, and their menu offers a delightful range of vegan and vegetarian choices. To access the other side, you can either take a bike ride or a leisurely walk, but be prepared to hike up the dunes.

The quality of service and food were commendable, although the presentation of the menu could be improved as it was slightly deceiving. The menu appeared to be extensive, but upon closer inspection, it was relatively concise. Nevertheless, we relished the dishes we ultimately selected.

The beach was rather pleasant, and I visited it based on a recommendation from a travel guide. It's a great spot for taking photographs, particularly of the charming old church situated near the shore. However, I wouldn't suggest spending an excessive amount of time there.

The beach is an absolutely delightful location with a team that is incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The view is simply breathtaking, leaving you in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds you.
