The sand is impeccably clean and the beach is spacious with a breathtaking view. The water is invitingly deep without being too steep, and the tide is gentle. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. However, the presence of dogs and horse droppings can be a bit of a nuisance. While they do add a certain charm to the scenery, they can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, the dunes can be crowded with tourists, which can be a bit overwhelming.

What a discovery! We rode our bikes all the way from Ghent, and stumbling upon this beachside restaurant was like a stroke of luck. The mussels were absolutely delicious, and the beer was top-notch. It felt like paradise!
