Middelburg - all beaches

The beach is lovely and well-maintained, and it's easy to reach on foot or by bike (although you'll need to climb over the dike). The sight of large ships passing by is a major highlight for the kids.

This beach is truly a breathtaking and stunning location, with its picturesque sand dunes and crystal blue waters. The restaurant situated on the strand is absolutely delightful, offering a lovely atmosphere and delicious cuisine. This is definitely a destination that should not be missed, as it is sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

It's a great spot to unwind and relax 😌, especially because it's not crowded on weekends.

The quaint and charming beach exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the amiable and accommodating staff. The delectable mussels au gratin were a delightful surprise, especially given their affordable cost. Although I searched high and low, I regrettably did not spot any seals during my visit.

This beach bar may not be the epitome of luxury, but it offers a refreshing change of pace. The staff is warm and welcoming, ensuring that your experience is both enjoyable and memorable. Additionally, you can stay connected with the complimentary WiFi, making it an ideal spot for a casual workday or a relaxed afternoon.

The view of the sunset from this spot was absolutely stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed taking leisurely walks along the beach and going for refreshing swims. The beach sands stretched for kilometers, creating a dreamy atmosphere, and there were no bothersome sea creatures to interrupt the tranquility. Although it could get crowded at times, it was mostly empty and delightful. Setting up a sun tent, reading, and admiring the beach became my favorite pastime here. The water was pleasantly cool, and the occasional passing boats added to the picturesque scenery in my opinion.
