This beach is a true gem! The natural beauty of the surroundings is absolutely breathtaking, and the crystal-clear waters are simply mesmerizing. However, be prepared for a chilly dip as the water is refreshingly cold. Without a doubt, this is the most beach I have had the pleasure of visiting in Alentejo.

Praia do Carvalhal

What a delightful beach! The abundance of sand makes it effortless to locate a peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle, where you can unwind without any disturbance from noisy children or other distractions. The waterway that runs alongside the beach is an ideal spot for kids to play and for those seeking a warmer swim, as it is considerably warmer than the ocean.

Praia do Tonel

This beach is absolutely stunning and not too crowded. It's like a paradise, but just a heads up, you'll need to hike a bit to get there, so make sure to wear proper shoes and bring all necessary equipment. Enjoy!

Upon our arrival at this enigmatic and secluded beach on a tranquil Sunday morning, we were greeted with the solitude of the entire place. The hike down to the beach was an exceptional experience, and the view of the beach was simply breathtaking. However, we soon discovered that the locals were aware of this hidden gem, as by noon, the beach was bustling with a hundred people. Nonetheless, the experience was worth it, and we are excited to revisit this captivating beach.
