Longueira - all beaches

This stunning beach boasts a vast expanse of soft sand and an array of exciting sporting activities. From kayaking to stand-up paddling, there's no shortage of things to do. However, even a simple stroll or sunbathing session is a delightful experience on this beach, reminiscent of the famous Copacabana. Across the river, accessible by ferry boat, lies the equally beautiful Furnas beach. The Mira River meets the Atlantic Ocean at this location, providing the option to swim in the relatively warm river water or the cooler Atlantic with authentic surf.

The beach offers an exceptional feature of effortless stair access, making it a remarkable destination for beachgoers.

This beach is absolutely gorgeous with crystal clear water and plenty of free parking available. The beachside cafe is fantastic and has clean, accessible restrooms and showers, including facilities for the disabled. Additionally, this beach is easily accessible without having to navigate a large number of steps.

This beach is quite captivating, featuring a blend of rocks, sand, and serene trees made of stones. Although the waves are impressive, the presence of rocks in the water can make it quite hazardous. Nonetheless, we found the beach and its surroundings to be quite enjoyable.

This is one of the beaches I love the most in Portugal. It's absolutely breathtaking. The hike down is a bit short and dangerous, so I wouldn't recommend it for young children, but it's definitely worth it. The cliffs and ravines also offer some great hiking opportunities. I highly recommend visiting, just please remember to keep it clean.

The beach is of a decent size...I walked through it on the fisherman trail...The pathways are clearly marked...There is a peaceful and natural atmosphere all around...Embrace an active and fulfilling life!...I have been a resident Cowboy and have been contributing to Portugal's economy since 2016.
