Praia da Salema

This seaside spot boasts a classic beach setting with a lengthy expanse of sandy shore and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing onto the beach. The beach is flanked by rocky outcrops on both sides, which only add to the natural beauty of the landscape. For those who love to explore, a leisurely stroll past the rocky formations on the right is a must-do activity. However, it's important to time your walk according to the tides or come equipped with proper attire and swimming skills, as you may need to navigate over and around the rocks and may end up getting wet. Unfortunately, we had to cut our adventure short as the incoming tide was too swift for us to continue.

This beach is truly remarkable, boasting an abundance of space for visitors to enjoy. With not one, but two restaurants on the premises, one can easily spend an entire day here indulging in the sun, sand, and sea. For those who are willing to put in a little effort, the reward is well worth it as the breathtaking views from above the sea are simply unforgettable. So why not make a day of it and experience all that this magnificent beach has to offer?

Praia do Burgau

This so-called accessible beach is a mere speck of sand, hemmed in by towering cliffs that loom over you like judgmental parents. Oh, and let's not forget the stunning geological formations that are sure to make you yawn with boredom. The sea may be calm, but it's also infested with kelp, which is about as appealing as a mouthful of seaweed. I suppose it's a decent spot for families with little ones and the elderly, but for anyone with a shred of adventure in their bones, this place is a snooze-fest.

Praia da Figueira

This beach is tucked away in a secluded location, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that I found truly delightful. The journey to the beach was equally enjoyable, as the short walk allowed me to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this hidden gem and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This exquisite beach is an ideal spot for families with young children. The crystal-clear waters and soft sand create a serene and safe environment for little ones to play and splash around. However, it's important to note that the road leading to the beach can be challenging for smaller rental cars. So, exercise caution and take your time when driving to this picturesque destination.

Today, the beach was tranquil with gentle waves and a light breeze. The beach was not crowded, making it an ideal location for capturing aerial footage with a drone. The path to the beach was steep, but it added an element of adventure to the trip. Additionally, there was a café on the beach that served mouth-watering grilled chicken and burgers.
