We visited another lovely beach on Mahe, but unfortunately, we didn't get to witness a sunset due to bad timing.

This charming beach with stunning views and a picturesque trail that leads you right to it. The path is well-marked and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to arrive within an hour. Once there, you'll be greeted by crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life. Don't forget to bring your snorkeling gear, as the fish playing amongst the underwater rocks are a sight to behold.

This vast expanse of sandy beach is a tranquil haven with limited crowds, making it perfect for a peaceful swim. However, it may not be the best spot for snorkeling enthusiasts.

This stretch of coastline boasts pristine, ivory sand and exceptional opportunities for snorkeling. Without a doubt, Port Launay is the ultimate beach destination in Mahe. Even when the weather takes a turn, this little slice of paradise remains sheltered from the elements, with dark storm clouds lingering in the distant hills. Experience the natural beauty of this idyllic spot and revel in the tranquility of its micro-climate.

Wow, what a stunning shoreline. The sunset was simply breathtaking, and there are plenty of shady spots to escape the sun's scorching rays. Just be warned, finding a parking space can be a bit of a challenge. Luckily, we managed to snag a spot across the road, but it's definitely worth the effort to enjoy this little slice of paradise.

Beau Vallon Beach II

We recently went to the last beach on the island and we were glad we only stayed for 2 hours. It's definitely not as great as people say it is. Maybe it used to be amazing, but now it's too commercialized and crowded. When we were there, there was a lot of seaweed and the water wasn't clear. If I were you, I would either skip it completely or just go for a walk around sunset, which was truly breathtaking.
