This is a fantastic spot for swimmers of all ages, including children, adults, and the elderly. The tidal pool is exceptionally clean because fresh sea water flows in with every high tide. I've been coming here for years and have always found an abundance of small fish and sea life, including a lion fish and octopus. There are basic restroom facilities, fresh water showers, and a parking area. You can set up your umbrella and towels on the beach or grassy area, and there are plenty of nearby attractions to explore, such as the whale viewing deck, lifeguard tower, lagoon, restrooms, Blue Lagoon Restaurant, Tangle Wood Forest, and the famous Waffle House. This is a safe beach that's definitely worth visiting. At low and mid tide, the water is calm and safe, making it perfect for young children and those who want to do a few laps. However, at high tide, it's a more adventurous experience that's best suited for experienced swimmers.

This beach is absolutely beautiful! The sand is incredibly soft and it's perfect for swimming. There are also plenty of rock pools to explore, each with its own little ecosystem filled with fish and sea plants. The swimming area is clearly marked with flags and there's a lifeguard station nearby. Plus, there's a clean tidal pool that's always ready for a swim. Whether you want to take a long walk, connect with nature, or just catch some rays, this beach is perfect. Just keep in mind that no dogs are allowed. One of the best things about this beach is that it's not too crowded, so you can relax without too many tourists around. And if you're a member of the San Lameer County Club, you'll have a private entrance to the beach.
