Struisbaai Main beach

This beach is incredibly long and offers great opportunities for walking, running, cycling, and kite surfing when the wind is blowing. The bay is quite shallow and the water is crystal clear, making it an ideal spot for swimming. There are designated areas with lifeguards for added safety. It's worth noting that the beach can get quite narrow during high tide, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly and aim for low tide.

What an absolutely incredible place. It's hard to believe that these cozy, well-equipped chalets nestled among the sand dunes on this beautiful coastline are referred to as a camp. Everything from the comfortable beds with high-quality bedding to the abundant hot water and spacious showers, not to mention the expansive terrace and breathtaking views, left us wanting for nothing. The walks through the nature reserve and along the coast were absolutely fantastic, and the access road is in great condition, with just a few small gravel sections. The staff were friendly and helpful, promptly resolving any maintenance issues that arose. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been some cushions for the outdoor furniture. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of waves crashing nearby was incredibly comforting, and it's something we'll definitely miss. We stumbled upon the perfect place for an incredibly enjoyable stay.
