We've been going as a big group every Sunday for a few years now, and it's an absolutely fantastic spot to relax with family and friends. The restaurant and bar are both amazing.

Playa de la Rada

This beach near Estepona is not a great choice for relaxation. It is one of the least attractive beaches in the region, with grimy sand and a rundown, budget-style resort atmosphere. It is definitely not worth the effort.

Playa de Torreguadiaro

This place is really comfortable and pleasant.

Calita Playa is absolutely stunning.

That place is your typical seaside spot, but one thing that really stands out is the lack of showers. You'll need to bring your own water if you want to rinse off after a dip in the sea. Another thing to note is that the sand is gray. Otherwise, it's an average beach.

We took an afternoon to explore this beach. There were two restaurants and a rental spot for paddle boats. Unfortunately, the beach wasn't anything special and the water was quite dirty and full of jellyfish. The man running the paddle boat rentals was incredibly rude - even after we returned the boat within 15 minutes, he still charged us for the hour. The price of the beach beds was also quite expensive at 10 euros each, but our kids had a great time. All in all, it was a relaxing beach, but the bad attitude of the paddle boat man left a sour taste in our mouths.
