Playa del Matorral

That place is absolutely massive - I had to look at the maps to get an idea of the size before I went, and even then I was surprised when I arrived. It only took me five minutes to walk from the car park to the beach, but it was only then that I could really appreciate how expansive it was. There were bars, sunbeds, a lighthouse, and plenty of sand to soak up the sun.

This beach is one of the best in the area, although some older individuals seem to feel the need to sunbathe in the nude, which can be a bit uncomfortable.

Esquinzo-Butihondo Beach

This beach near Piedras Caidas is a large, unspoilt paradise. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the golden fine sand. Though the wind can be strong at times, there are plenty of sheltered areas to keep you out of the breeze. It may not be as stunning as the nearby Sotavento Lagoons, but it's definitely a tranquil and beautiful place to spend a day.

This place is quite the sight to behold! It's a bit tricky to get to, so the best way to go is to book a Safari Jeep Tour. Once you're there, you'll be able to take a walk among the rocks and spot some big crabs!

Playa Ledesma

This secluded beach on the beautiful Jandia peninsula is a must-see. You can get there by 4WD or on foot - the path that goes from Morro Jable to the Punta Jandia lighthouse is especially stunning. This is the final, unforgettable 22 km of the incredible GR 131 that we took 9 days to traverse. Don't miss out on this incredible experience!

Playa Las Coloradas

That place is definitely worth the effort! Although the path to get there can be a bit tricky and rough, the reward of a tranquil shoreline is worth it.
