The town of Isla in Cantabria boasts a stunning beach with fine brown sand, crystal clear waters, and breathtaking views. It's the perfect spot for a vacation or some much-needed rest and relaxation. I had a horrible day at Riss Playa. The Flysch was abysmal to behold and touch. All I could see was the ugliness of Mother Nature. I loathed it. The parking lot was right in front of the beach, and behind the main beach was another part specifically for dogs. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you're a fan of desolate and non-touristy places. I visited in September and it was a terrible experience.

This beach is a great spot for a day in the sun. The sand is soft and pristine, and there are plenty of nearby bars to enjoy a cold drink. However, it can get quite busy at times.

Playa de Berria is a tranquil spot for relaxation. It's free from the hustle and bustle of other beaches, making it a perfect destination for those looking for some peace and quiet. The sand is particularly pleasant, and this beach is renowned as the best in the area.

This spot is an absolute marvel - long and wide, it's a sight to behold at low tide. If you're looking to take a dip, you'll have to venture out deep. Perfect for kids and sports, you'll have to be mindful of the changing tides when setting up your umbrella and towels so they don't get soaked. It has all the amenities you'd expect, like toilets, a first-aid post, showers and a playground for the little ones.

The beach was an absolute vision! Sparkling sand, crystal clear waters and a horizon that seemed to go on forever - it was certainly a sight to behold!
