Vilanova i la Geltru - all beaches

It's not the easiest place to get to at the moment, as they've put a gate up at the entrance. There's no free parking in the area either, so you either have to pay or go somewhere else. I took a panorama from a drone and it looks better than it does in reality.

This place is simply lovely! The beautiful sea and the brown sand make it a perfect spot for a day at the beach. The entrance to the water is especially convenient for both children and the elderly. To top it off, the promenade in the evening is truly stunning.

We decided to visit Sitges to get away from the sweltering heat and hustle and bustle of Barcelona, and we definitely made the right decision! As we walked around the town and along the beach, we got the sense that the place was mainly frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. The atmosphere was peaceful and tranquil. The sea was delightful, with gentle ripples. Lifeguards were on duty at the beach and showers were available along the shoreline to remove the sand and salt. The old town of Sitges was super charming, with lovely little shops and bars. It made me think of Greece or Portugal.

Platja del Garraf is an ideal spot to unwind and soak up the sun. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the day. Unfortunately, parking can be an issue, as it can be difficult to find a spot.

The beach in town may be a great spot for family and friends, but it can get incredibly busy in the late afternoons and on the weekends. The white sand is nice, but it's not exactly a spot to relax due to the large crowds. It's not ideal for a peaceful day, but it's still worth checking out.
