That place is a perfect spot for a relaxing day by the sea! not too big, but the water is full of little fish that will happily swim with you. It's a wonderful experience to be able to interact with nature in this way and the perfect place to spend a peaceful day.

Platja del Port de la Vall

There are some stones, but the beach has a solid foundation.

Port de la Selva

This spot is a great for those seeking a more local vibe - 95% of visitors are from the area. It's also a great spot for families, with a playground with a slide and shallow waters, making it perfect for the little ones. The sand may be a bit sparse, making it tricky to set up umbrellas, but it's still a great spot to soak up the sun. The water isn't as clear as other spots on the Costa Brava, but it's still much cleaner than that of Barcelona. Plus, it's a blue zone, with free parking just a 10-minute walk away. And the views? Stunning.

I had an awful experience at the beach. The sun was too hot, the sand was too grainy, and the waves were too choppy. I couldn't relax and the time I spent there was miserable.

Platja El Morer

This small, picturesque beach offers a view of El Port de la Selva across the water. You can access Platja Gola via a nice walking path. The Morer cove (Platja del Morer) at Punta de la Farella borders the Ronde de Llança path. While not the most beautiful cove in the area, it is easily accessible by a few stairs. The cove has a mix of sand and gravel, with a rocky and gently sloping seabed. The left side of the cove is teeming with active underwater life, perfect for exploring with a mask and snorkel. To reach the cove, take Carrer Morer and park on Carrer Jaume I where a few parking spaces are available. From there, you can access all the coves along the Chemin de Ronde.
