Take a trip to the beach and get a free spa treatment! Collect mud from the lake and cover yourself in its healing properties. It's a great way to have a laugh and it's totally free. We visited out of season, so I can't comment on how crowded it would be during peak times, but it is definitely worth a visit.

Playa de Colon

Santiago de la Ribera boasts four meters of beach, including Colón, Castillico, and Barnuevo. The sand is fine and tan, and the water is crystal clear and shallow, making it easy to access. There are plenty of piers to explore further out, and the water is comfortably warm even in March. also conveniently located near toilets, bars, and restaurants, so you can easily take a break and grab a bite to eat. With its high quality designation, this beach is truly a wonder.

This location is a great spot to relax, with the sun shining at the perfect angle and just the right amount of breeze. The nearby restaurant and grocery store provide all the amenities you could need, and the sandy bottom and warm waters make it an ideal place for swimming. Come on in - the water's just right!

This spot is far from great. It's alright, but nothing special. It's nothing to write home about.

This is our first time visiting the beach, but it definitely won't be our last. It's quite evident that this place is very popular, as we didn't make a reservation but fortunately managed to secure a table. The three-course menu offered great value and a variety of delicious options to choose from. The food was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and willing to assist us.
