Malvarrosa Beach

There are no trees, and the sea appears to be unclean. The cost for renting an umbrella is 7€, and the same goes for a beach seat. However, the beach is conveniently accessible from the city, with both bus and tram options available for a ticket price of 1.50€.

Platja del Saler

This spot is ideal if you're looking for a tranquil spot to relax. The sand is golden and the water is crystal clear - it's even better than the beaches north of the port. It can be a bit windy, so you might end up fighting the sand, but it really depends on the day.

El Perellonet Beach

I absolutely love this beach and port. It's much nicer than the ones in Tavernes de la Valldigna and Cullera, which have pricey stores and eateries. The beach has a promenade, bars, beach bars, a park, and even some exercise equipment. Plus, it's clean and the sunsets are gorgeous.

Pucol Beach

Puzol beach is a Blue Flag beach with a long and tranquil boardwalk. It is perfect for people of all ages, and in summertime, there are Chiringuitos and windsurfing facilities, as well as a variety of eateries throughout the year. The absence of large hotels nearby means that the beaches have plenty of room and the restaurants are not overcrowded. The nightlife goes on late, but this beach is not full of inebriated tourists, making it a great place for families and all ages.

Platja de la Patacona

What a shame! I went to this chiringuito expecting a healthy, refreshing watermelon drink, but instead I got a sugar-laden concoction. Even after I asked for it without sugar, they still added it. And for what? €4. What a ripoff!

Port Saplatja Beach

This beach was really nice and I'm sure I'll be back in the future. There are plenty of restaurants and a shopping centre nearby (though it's closed on Sundays). Parking is usually available, although sometimes it can be a bit limited. Additionally, the beach has a nice layer of gray fine pebbles.
