The Lausanne area boasts the biggest sandy beach around. Due to limited parking, it's advisable to consider biking as a means of transportation if possible. The water near the shore is relatively shallow. A promenade stretches along the entire length of the beach, accompanied by amenities such as a restaurant, restrooms, and a small buvette offering refreshing drinks, snacks, and paninis.

This beach is truly stunning, peaceful, and charming.

Plage de la Cure d'Air

The place is absolutely stunning, but it tends to get quite crowded. My suggestion would be to walk a bit further along the shore, where you'll find a park that offers an equally delightful experience for swimming and sunbathing on the grass.

This is always our go-to spot for dining on Lake Geneva. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the beach atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a hectic week. If you're lucky, you might even be greeted by a shirtless man ;) - Roald, Janet, Vikki, and Ross
