French Leave beach

French Leave beach is an exquisite destination that boasts of its natural beauty. Located on the Atlantic side, this beach offers a more thrilling experience with its powerful waves compared to the tranquil waters of the Bahamas Shelf. The sand on this beach is a subtle shade of pink, adding to its charm. With its vast and elongated stretch, this beach is ideal for long walks and invigorating swims in the ocean. Guests of French Leave resort can access facilities located in the middle of the beach, making it a convenient spot to unwind. However, if you're staying on the Bight side of the island, you'll need to take a golf cart to reach this stunning beach. So, while you won't be able to step out of your room and onto the beach, the journey to French Leave beach is well worth it.

Twin Coves beach

Compared to other beaches in Eleuthera, this beach is easily accessible and boasts a stunning peninsula with tranquil waters perfect for snorkeling. For the adventurous swimmers, there is the option to swim around the point and discover the abundance of reef life. Our visit here was made even more memorable by the successful catch of a few Snapper. And to top it off, we had the entire beach to ourselves during our February visit. It truly was a serene and picturesque paradise.
