Edremit - all beaches

The music was unbearable, the beach was mediocre, the food and beer options were limited, the waiters were dorky, and finding parking was a challenge.

There are no facilities available anymore. The land is up for sale and the buildings that were once part of the railways are now in ruins. However, there is a small buffet that offers sun lounger service. The only positive aspect is that there is a public beach right in the center of Akçay. It's a nice spot to simply grab a chair, an umbrella, and relax.

Perfect

The beach is situated within a secluded summer resort, boasting a vast expanse of sandy shoreline. While the sea may not be exceptional, it is relatively shallow and occasionally has grassy patches. Additionally, the resort provides umbrellas and sunbeds for its guests, so it's best to bring your own if you're not staying there. Overall, it's the perfect spot for families or anyone seeking a tranquil seaside escape.

The pristine and refreshing waters make this beach a top choice for many. The local government takes great care in maintaining its cleanliness, but it's up to us visitors to do our part in keeping it tidy.
