Catalca - all beaches

The sea is clean and calm, making it a great choice for swimming in Istanbul. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful beach in the entire city.

Although the sea is stunning, the initial entrance has some rocks and seaweed. However, once you get past that, the beach is completely sandy and shallow. It's a great spot for families to enjoy together.

The coastline is absolutely stunning, adorned with an array of charming cafes, restaurants, kiosks and shops. It's a serene and peaceful place, particularly at night, and doesn't tend to get too overcrowded. However, at present, it's undergoing some renovation work, so it may be disappointing for those hoping to visit. Nonetheless, once the refurbishment is complete, I'm certain it will be restored to its former glory. (Photos taken in 2019)

This stunning beach has an array of family-friendly amenities, such as comfortable chairs and convenient party facilities. Additionally, visitors can easily access nearby hotels and a bustling shopping mall, making it the perfect destination for a day of fun in the sun.

This beach is a great spot for both morning and evening walks, as well as picnics. Many people come here for a day out and the place has all the necessary facilities, including a restaurant, department store, restrooms, and stunning views. I highly recommend a visit to this place. If you have the time, I suggest driving through the entire area, as it is truly breathtaking.
