Despite having visited this place since childhood, every time I return, I am disheartened to see its deteriorating condition. One must tread carefully to avoid coming in contact with the litter floating in the water, which is not only unsightly but also repulsive. The lack of service and security personnel is alarming, as evidenced by the incident where a foreign tourist's child went missing while the parents were trying to shower, and no one was available to help. The frequent announcements of robberies in the area only add to the already tense atmosphere, making it difficult to relax. To make matters worse, even the air one breathes comes at a cost, with small business owners trying to extract every last penny from tourists. In conclusion, while it may be worth stopping by for a quick photo, it is best not to waste one's time and move on to other destinations.

Upon arriving at Tekmen's center, one must take the main road behind and navigate through the side roads to reach the mountain's peak. Any right turns will lead to a dead end and the fire road does not connect to the valley. The route is moderately challenging, covering an estimated distance of 2 kilometers one way. Upon reaching the valley in the evening, I was the sole inhabitant and opted to stay overnight in a tent. The serene surroundings and crystal-clear waters made for a tranquil experience that I would gladly repeat. Ample wood is available for a campfire, but caution is advised.
