We visited this recreation center twice in 2018 and 2019 and we can't wait to come back! We were warmly welcomed by the administration and Larisa, who even checked us in at 22.00. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the center had changed significantly for the better since our last visit, with new air conditioners, clean linen, pillows, beds, microwaves, kettles, dishes and improved internet speed. The houses were clean and cozy, perfect for a family holiday, and the prices were very affordable. The beach was great, with plenty of space. We also had the pleasure of trying the homemade food brought to the center by a nice man named Andrei - always fresh, tasty and of high quality, at divine prices! We hope that the quarantine will end soon so we can come back to you! Warm regards, Natalia and Andrey ❤

This stunning beach is open to the public and perfect for families with children. Occasionally, you may come across jellyfish and the occasional gasoline stain, but don't let that deter you from experiencing the beauty of our deep sea. The sandy bottom is mixed with delicate shells, providing a unique texture to the beach. Take this opportunity to unwind and relax in the sun. I highly recommend visiting all the seaside towns and cities in our country to fully appreciate the natural wonders of our coastline.

There is no space for an apple to drop on the main sanatorium beach during the season. It's best to move more than 200 meters to the left. Below the cliff, there are wide areas with cleaner sand. Additionally, you can find beautiful seashells there.

We embarked on a family trip with three kids, aiming for relaxation. For our stay, we chose a "House on the Sea" at a site resembling a campsite, offering various types of houses, ranging from basic ones with outdoor showers reminiscent of the USSR era, to more comfortable homes with all modern conveniences. However, the sea was disappointingly shallow, which was the only drawback of our trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a shoreline littered with jellyfish and a strong iodine scent, but to our relief, cleaning efforts on the neighboring beach were already underway. By morning, the beach was impeccably clean, and continuous efforts were made to remove algae and jellyfish throughout our stay. Still, due to the shallow waters, we didn't spend much time on the beach. It's worth noting, though, that this could be an ideal spot for families with young children. For those seeking a beach-centric vacation primarily for swimming, this place might not be the best fit. However, the area around Gengorka had plenty to offer. We explored the nearby Pink Lake with its boundless brine, located just 5 km from the beach. Other attractions within reach included hot springs, salt lakes, a glycerin lake, a Safari Park with a variety of animals, a dolphinarium, and a water park. Conveniently, a market and several shops were also close by, with a 10-minute walk to the nearest ATM in Gengorka. The prices were reasonable, and surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes, despite the proximity to reeds. Special thanks go to Sergey, who provided us with our accommodation. He and his wife Lena went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, paying attention to every detail, from kitchen sponges to barbecue grills. An exciting moment for the kids was meeting the host Christina from "Swindlers in the Nets" on the promenade. Overall, the experience was delightful, blending comfort with adventure and exploration.

The beach is an excellent spot for camping, with a relatively low number of visitors. If you venture further away, you'll find even fewer people around. The water is crystal clear, provided there are no waves, and the beach itself is quite spacious. The only drawback is the scattered heaps of rubbish left behind by some visitors. Unfortunately, it appears that some individuals have inherited the tendency to dispose of waste wherever it's convenient.
