This beach in Caithness is truly iconic. It offers a delightful cave for sleeping and a refreshing natural shower. When the tide is low, you can easily access small beaches towards the east. Additionally, there is an abundance of wild hares to observe, making it a great source of entertainment for children.

Farr Beach

This was the fourth beach we visited on our trip west from Thurso, and it turned out to be another fantastic stretch of pristine golden sand. It was well-maintained and shielded by two headlands. The beach was so clean that we decided to kick off our shoes and enjoy walking barefoot through the gentle waves. Although the initial coldness took us by surprise, it actually added to the excitement and made it a fun experience. Additionally, there is a small car park conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the beach.
