Spittal beach

This beach is absolutely gorgeous! There's free parking available right on the seafront and on some of the adjacent streets. The beach itself is beautifully clean and there are plenty of food shops, ice cream stalls, and vans scattered throughout the area. It's a very serene place and not overly crowded.

Tyninghame Beach

The beach is absolutely stunning, with numerous pathways that can lead you astray and a leisurely 15-minute stroll to reach the shore (although it may take longer if you, like us, venture all the way to the end 😅). The beauty of the beach truly shines when the sun is shining. However, parking can be a bit challenging as there are limited spaces available.

Bamburgh Beach

The beach offers sandy dunes, a vast expanse of shoreline, and a stunning castle in the backdrop. It's an ideal spot to soak up the sun and spend an entire day, especially when the weather is warm and pleasant. Plus, you won't have to venture overseas! Your furry friend will also have a blast and surely tire out.

North Sunderland beach

This beach was absolutely delightful! The sand was incredibly soft and velvety, making it the perfect place to lounge and soak up the sun. One of the best things about this beach was that it wasn't too crowded, so you could really relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, getting into the sea was a breeze - the water was easily accessible and so refreshing. Overall, this was a truly wonderful beach experience.
