This place is a real hidden gem. Although the weather was a bit gloomy when we went, I could imagine how amazing it must be to relax on this beach during the summer. Nonetheless, it was a stunning spot to explore and take a stroll around the headland.

This beach on the North east coast of Skye is truly a beautiful spot. There is a large lay-by overlooking the sea, providing a perfect view. The beach itself is lovely, with a small stretch of sandy shoreline where many people still enjoy swimming in the sea, even in September. However, what makes this location truly famous are the dinosaur footprints found in the flat rock, only visible during low tide. On a sunny afternoon, I had the pleasure of spotting five footprints. By early evening, most of the day trippers have left, leaving space for Campervans and motorhomes to park in the lay-by and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Overall, it is a wonderful and peaceful spot to spend the night, being lulled to sleep by the soothing sound of the waves.
